Chapter 2

The most obnoxious sound you had ever heard beeped next to your ear.

"Uhhh..." You moan and roll over, closer to the edge of the bed. "Ki...daa..." Still half asleep you search for cause of this ruckus.

The sound continues to scream in your face as you slam your hand on the top of the alarm clock, trying to shut it up.

A painful throb beats through your head as you finally stop the racket and roll off the edge of your bed, falling to the hard ground.
Wrapped up in your bundle of blankets, you just lie on the floor in a heap, too tired to move.

A scream pierced the silent midnight air. As you regain composure, you realize that the shrill sound belongs to you. A lifeless body lies face down in front of you, but all you can do is stand and cry. Kneeing down on the ground, crimson liquid covers your jeans as you whimper and sob.
